Cecelia Carolyn Conitz Heinrich

Cecelia Carolyn Conitz Heinrich was born January 2, 1938 and passed away March 28, 2023.

She grew up in Calvert, Texas, got her Bachelor’s degree in Education at Sam Houston University in Huntsville, Texas and passionately worked as an art teacher, an English teacher, and a Journalism teacher. She worked for Hearne ISD for 25 years as an art teacher and also wrote for the Hearne Democrat Publications, The Bryan College Station Eagle, the Cameron Herald, and the Waco Tribune.

A kind and loving soul, her family was one of the most important things to Cecelia. Being artistic, she loved to draw and paint. She also enjoyed Facebook, genealogy, and watching old Westerns and classic television movies. She was a member of A&M Methodist Church in College Station.

She was reunited with her parents, Alfred Edward Conitz and Ellen Carolyn Miles Conitz; her son, James Eric Sargent, and many other family members and friends.

Cecelia is survived by her daughter Joan Heinrich of Bryan; grandchildren, Christopher Heinrich and Ashton Heinrich of Bryan; sister, Barbara Conitz of Port Lavaca, TX; and several furry family members.
