Cathleen Anne Stearns

Cathleen Anne Stearns, 69, was born on July 4, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, to Carl and Edith Wolfe and passed away on October 24, 2022 at her home in College Station, Texas after a long and courageous battle with cancer. 

Cathy was a wonderful teacher.  Hundreds of students learned to read, write, and do arithmetic in her loving classroom.  Cathy played clarinet and she enjoyed sewing.  She could draw beautiful pictures, she loved books, she loved animals, she loved the beach. 

But the most important part of life to her was always her family. She taught us to love each other and trust ourselves.  She left us far too soon. 

She is survived by her husband Richard Stearns; her two daughters; Aubree (Dustin) Friesenhahn, and Emily Stearns; and three granddaughters, Harper, Grace & Georgia.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on November 12, 2022, at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in College Station, Texas.
