Carrie Heath Holloman

Carrie Heath Holloman, age 98 of Bryan, passed away Monday, November 13, 2006 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center.  Mrs. Holloman was born December 7, 1907 near Normangee to Jimmy and Nancy Rose Smith Heath.

She lived in Bryan for over fifty years.  She was a Charter member of Trinity Baptist Church and formerly worked as a clerk at Colson’s on the Corner.  Mrs. Holloman enjoyed cooking and baking, however, her true passion was her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law Earl & Virginia Holloman of Los Angeles, CA and Doug & Gail Holloman of Hempstead; two sisters and brothers-in-law Joyce & Hal Holder  and Joy & Calvin Holder all of Bryan, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Hillier Funeral Home with Reverends Henry Stovall and Jerry Russum officiating.  Interment will follow at Bethesda Cemetery in Leon County.  A visitation will be held from 5-8pm Wednesday and from 10-11am on Thursday at the funeral home.
