BRITTNEY LYN SONNIER
Brittney Lyn Sonnier, 20, was born on December 1, 1986 in Houston, TX to David & Brenda McRae Sonnier.  Brittney passed away June 7, 2007.
In high school she was an officer in the FFA and a member of the National Honor Society.  She graduated from Liberty Hill High School in 2005 and was attending Texas A&M University, majoring in Organizational Development.  While at A&M, she was president of Texas A&M Horseman’s Association, vice president of the American Collegiate Horseman’s Association, vice president of the National Horseman’s Association and was active in the HOSTS, Helping One Student To Succeed, program.  She worked for the Texas A&M Soil and Crop Sciences department, the Absolute Fun Defensive Driving School, Royal Legend Arabians stable and was a baby sitter.  She was a member of the River Bend Church in Austin, TX.  Brittney enjoyed spending time with her family, horseback riding, caring for and teaching children and the elderly, snow skiing and taking care of the animals she loved.  She had 3 horses, Harvey, Reno and Marmie; and 5 dogs, Shelby, Abbie, Toby, Roxy and a puppy that she rescued from the side of the road named Champ.
Brittney is survived by her parents Brenda & Ryan Cornett and David & Jeri Sonnier, a sister Mindy Brownlee & her husband Jeff, a step-brother Eric Cornett, grandparents Joyce Sonnier, Gladys McRae, James & Frances Cornett, Beverly & David Worthington and R.L. McRae, great grandparents Bill & Dorothy Kervin and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan, TX.  A visitation will be 6-8pm, Monday, June 11, 2007 at Hillier Funeral Home.  Interment will be immediately following the service at College Station City Cemetery in College Station, Texas.

Brittney Lyn Sonnier dedicated her life to our Lord Jesus Christ in the spring of 1996.  Her continuous walk in His Light has spread much love and kindness to all those that have been blessed through her friendship.
