Alicia Casas

Alice Casas, 37, of Bremond, passed away on Sunday, January 06, 2008 surrounded by her family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church in Bryan.
Visitation will be on Monday and Tuesday night from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hillier Funeral Home with a Rosary on Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m.
Alice was a member of the Bremond City Park Board, Bremond Elementary PTO, and helped with the Back to school rally.  She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bremond where she volunteered as a teacher with the Parish Christian Children.  Also Alice was a member of the Lions Club, and enjoyed volunteering wherever she was needed.  Mrs. Casas was loved by many, and will be dearly missed.  She was a true inspiration for our Lord and Savior.
Survivors: Husband: Juan Casas; daughters: Claudia Elizabeth and Camille Nicole Casas all of Bremond; parents: Cesario Garza and Felicita (Savala) Garza of Caldwell; brothers: Charlie Garza and wife Nancy of Decatur, Andrew Garza and wife Alicia of Lubbock, Mario Garza and wife Adela of Caldwell, Fermin Garza and wife Kim of Lone Jack, MO, Nick Garza of Amarillo; sisters: Mary Correa and husband Roy of Dime Box, Dora Garza of Dimmitt, Abelia “Bea” Garza of Dimmitt, Teresa Garth and husband John of Hereford, Hope Sifuentes and husband Joe of Austin.
