Mario Jemison

Mr. Mario Andreas Jemison was born on March 13, 1988 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Mr. Roy Bryant Jemison and Ms. Patricia Bailey-Jones. Mario spent his early years in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He completed his high school years at Bryan High School in Bryan, Texas. He departed this life on January 25, 2015. A time for family to receive friends will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Saturday, January 31, at Hillier Funeral Home, 2301 East 29th Street in Bryan. A Homegoing Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday February 1, also at the funeral home.

He was baptized in late 2014. He was so excited as he professed that he was saved! His belief in Christ became his guiding light.

Mario had a great love for the outdoors. He truly enjoyed playing basketball and online video games on the play station. He loved his spaghetti and hamburgers, especially McDonalds.

Mario was a very happy, upbeat young man. He didn’t let anything get him down. He never met a stranger.

Mario leaves to cherish his memories and celebrate his life, mother, Patricia Bailey-Jones; father, Roy Jemison; daughter Ja’Liyah Jemison; 7 sisters, LaKia Jones, D’Anna, Shyoni, Mikyala, Monika, Desirae, and Ellisa Jemison; 3 brothers, James Jemison, Frank Sharpe, and Jordan Dalton; nephew, DeVon J. Wagner, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends, who were like family.
