On December 15th, our beloved sister heard God calling her name. She answered the call and was carried home to Heaven by her Guardian Angel.

A Celebration of Life, officiated by J.J. Ramirez and Pastor Chris Ledezma, will be held in her honor on Saturday, December 22nd, at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan, Texas at 11:00 A.M.

Yolanda was born on March 26, 1951, to Ysidro and Maria Garcia. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School.

Yolanda accepted her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the 80’s, and from there nothing could stop her from praising and worshiping God. She attended every bible study she could find. If she was invited to attend a church no matter what religion, she would be there.

She attended Women’s Aglow, Santa Teresa, Aldersgate, New Life World Christian Center, Casa De Dios, Brazos Fellowship and SOS Ministries. She just could not get enough of Jesus. She was always there to pray for anyone that asked for prayer.

Yolanda’s other passions in life were spending time with her Grandchildren and family. She also enjoyed watching the Aggies and Cowboys play football, watching the Price is Right with her beloved sister Rosie and celebrating Christmas.

Yolanda will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren and her family and friends.

To meet her in Heaven are her parents Ysidro and Maria Garcia, her brother Ruben Garcia, and her sisters Rosie Ortiz and Linda Garcia.

To cherish Yolanda’s memory in their hearts forever are her son David Rosser and Emily; daughter Brandi Rosser; seven grandchildren Jonathan Dale, Jonah Rosser, Xavier Davidson, Jacob Rosser, Rebecka Davidson, Rosana Hall, Charley Rosser and a little one on the way, Isiah James; siblings, Isidro Garcia Jr. and wife Elia, Roy Garcia and wife Susie, Maryhelen Ramirez and husband J.J., Melva Mireles and husband Rod, Annie Ramirez and husband Julian, and Richard Garcia and wife Norma; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Yolanda’s special friends who were always there for her, including Clementine Ledezma, Nina Garcia, Viola Milazzo, Mary Jane Chavarria, Linda Carpenter and her Mother-in-law, Mrs. Rebecca Rosser whom was always praying for her and kept in touch with her.

The family would also like to thank Yolanda’s caregivers: Yolanda Cano, Kimberly Garcia, Myra Olvera and Ms. Pearline; and her caring hospice nurses, Therese, Kimberly, Leesa and Chaplian William Plotts.
