Thelma (Jones) Smith, 71, of Chandler, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018. Funeral Services are set for 10AM Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Reliance Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Kurten Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30PM Wednesday, March 14 at Hillier Funeral Home of Bryan.
Thelma was born on October 9, 1946 in Limestone, County. She was the daughter of Ernest and Florience (Hull) Jones. Thelma enjoyed fishing and yard work. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Marvin Jones.
Thelma leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband, Ruble Smith Jr.; two daughters, Debbie Heuermann and husband Keith, and Kim Beene and husband Scott; one brother, Allen Jones; a brother-in-law, Tommy Smith; three sister-in-laws, Cora Ann Scott and husband Don, Ernestine Walters, and Daisy Krejic; and three grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler Heuermann, and Brice Beene, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
