Tara Trowbridge

Tara Kathryn Trowbridge, a loving, passionate, and caring woman, passed away on March 11, 2021.

Tara was born on August 22, 2000, to her parents, Michael and Kathryn, in Bryan, Texas. Throughout school, Tara was involved with theatre. One of her fondest memories was when she went on a trip to New York City with her theatre class in high school. Tara graduated from Rudder High School in 2018, and then became a key holder at Torrid. Retail was a passion of Tara's, and she loved starting a career in retail at Torrid. She came to build many friendships through her work and was always happy to be there.

Always an adventurous young woman, Tara loved to go on vacations with her family. She enjoyed trips to Kemah and the beach with her daddy, and going on vacation with her mom and step-dad, Charlie, to New York City, Playa del Carmen, and cruising to Jamaica, Cancun, and the Cayman Islands. One vacation during a sea turtle excursion in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, Tara and her mother, not knowing how to swim, had to be pulled along by someone so they could see the sea turtles. Afterwards, both of them had a horrible sunburn on the back of their legs, which made the plane ride a torturous yet hilarious one! Tara always made light of every situation and was always light-hearted and smiling.

As a young woman who loved shopping, you could always find Tara at Target or Kroger, two of her favorite stores to look around. She found beauty in small things like flowers and antiques. She loved animals, especially her pet cat she named Monkey that she absolutely loved.

Tara was deeply rooted in the hope and faith of humanity, while knowing Christ loves her. With an intense passion about her beliefs, she was always so caring towards everyone she met. She believed in kindness and always said, "I love you." Her family was very important to her, and she held her relationships with people very close to her heart. And that included her cat, Monkey!

Tara will be missed by her parents, Kathryn and Charles Coleman, and Michael and Robin Trowbridge; her step-brothers, Chad and Corey Coleman, and Josh and Jarrod Franks; Monkey, the cat; her best friend, Kamryn, along with many other friends and coworkers.

Tara will be reunited with her grandfather and grandmother, Daniel LJ Salisbury and Kathryn Salisbury; Uncle Daniel F. Salisbury; great-grandparents, Joe and Mary Trowbridge; great grandmother, Shirley Ruddick; and grandfather, Robert Coleman.

A Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm, on Wednesday, March 17th, at Hillier of BRYAN. A Celebration of Life will begin at 2 pm, on Thursday, March 18th, at the funeral home.
