Steven Patrick Mayworm

Steven Patrick Mayworm passed away January 29, 2019 at the age of 34.

Steven was born May 7, 1984 in Portland, Oregon to Ronald Gary and Beverly Sue (Parmer) Mayworm. He had a happy childhood and moved to the Bryan/ College Station area when he was just one and a half. Growing up with his older brother Matt, Steven loved adventure and be outside. A history buff, he loved learning and reading about history. In fact, in his younger years he enjoyed Civil War re enacting. After Steven’s mother Beverly passed away in 2001, he graduated Timber Academy in 2002.
Steven worked in retail management. Although he was not able to serve in the military, he had a deep appreciation for all who have had the honor of serving our country. His favorite color was camouflage and he was definitely a bit of an adrenaline junkie. Although his greatest passion was fishing, he loved hunting and anything outdoors. He was always trying to do better and be better in life. He was constantly seeking to better himself.
Charming and a smooth talker, Steven was the life of the party and was always looking for a good time. He enjoyed debating current politics. Even though he was 100% stubborn, he was loyal to his friends and family and could be depended on when they needed help.
Steven leaves behind his father Ronald, his brother Matt, and numerous close friends.
Steven’s family would particularly like to thank his girlfriend, Barbara, and his closest friends, Sam and Justin, for their love and support for him.
To honor Steven’s life, his family has planned a life celebration service from 5-7 PM in the chapel of Hillier Funeral Home of Bryan On Monday, February 11, 2019, with a memory share to begin at 6:15.
