Scott Everett Johnson

Scott Everett Johnson, 56, died on July 29, 2017.
Scott was born October 9, 1960 to Donald and Francis Arlene (Turner) Johnson. While he was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, Scott grew up on military bases. As a kid, he loved to aggravate his oldest brother, Mark, by out fishing him. His brother, Mark, said that one of the things he remembered the most about Scott was that you could always count on him to do what he said he was going to do. Scott always wanted to be a truck driver, so as soon as he graduated from Bryan High School, he immediately began to work for Conlee Brothers Moving and Storage. He always strove for perfection, saying that if you pack it right, and it is done right, there is no damage. He enjoyed driving all over the US. He was known for asking for the hardest and most difficult jobs, completing them with enthusiasm and perfection.
Scott loved to bicycle, often riding his bike to work. He once even rode from Amarillo to Washington State and on to San Diego. He also loved to play the guitar. Most important to Scott though was time spent on the farm with his dad, once helping to build a fence around the entire ranch.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother Francis. He will be greatly missed by his father Donald and step mother Pam Johnson, brother Mark and sister-in-law Tricia of Kingsland, sister Donna and brother-in-law Matt Lovell of Bryan, sister Julie Johnson of Baltimore, brother Don Johnson of College Station, and brother Johnny and sister-in-law Katie Johnson of Bee Cave, Texas.
A Life Celebration Service will be held at 5 PM on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Hillier Funeral Home of College Station followed by a Celebration Reception.
