Sandra Shears

Sandra Shears, 78, of Milican, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021. She was born on May 3, 1943, to her parents, Thomas (Frank) Grissom and Marguerite Batholomew, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She loved her loving family more than anything in the world. Sandra was the happiest when she was surrounded by her loved ones; while sharing laughter, playing games, and making memories. She was especially fond of her grandbabies and her dogs. She also enjoyed taking long bus trips to casinos.

Sandra leaves behind her children Scott Deffendoll and his wife Zoe, and Susan Hanson; her grandchildren Heather Wallace, Courtney Hanson, and Ashley Hanson; her Great-grandchildren Jd Jones, and Haven Jones;her brother John Grissom; and her sisters Sheila Kestle, and Diane Spenos to cherish her memories.

She is reunited with her loving parents Thomas (Frank) Grissom and Marguerite Bartholomew; her brother Tom Grissom; and niece Carol Martin.
