Noelia Garcia

Noelia Garcia, 68, of Bryan, went home to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 17, 2020. A visitation and rosary will be held on Monday, November 23 from 5-7 pm at Hillier of Bryan. Final Catholic Rites will be held on November 24 at 11 am at Hillier of Bryan and a graveside will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Noelia, a strong and caring woman, was born in Donna, Texas on January 11, 1952 to her parents, Rogelio Prado and Maria Ramona Tapia. She spent most of her childhood in Central Texas and grew up with many brothers and sisters, whom she loved dearly. As a child she was fun, caring, and enjoyed listening to music of all kinds.

Noelia met the love of her life, Jose Garcia, at a bar and grill where she was working at the time. They instantly had a connection and quickly fell in love with each other. They were happily married for 45 years and had many beautiful children together.

Noelia was a loving house-wife. She took great pride in taking care of her husband, children, and home. In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo, scratching scratch-off tickets, and going to casinos, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren, all of whom she had a special nickname for. The most important things in Noelia's life was her family and faith. Her favorite time of the year was Thanksgiving because it was a time where her whole family could gather in thankfulness.

Noelia was a loving, graceful, and generous woman. She had a deep faith in the Lord and loved her family with all of her heart. She was servant hearted and found great joy in helping other in any way she could.

Noelia is reunited in heaven with her parents, Rogelio Prado and Maria Ramona Tapia; siblings, Juanita Ruiz, Apolonio Prado, Criselda Prado, and Abraham Prado; and daughter, Angelica Garcia.
