Mrs. Bill Coleman

Mrs. Bill Aubry Coleman, 77, of Bryan, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021. A Celebration of Life will begin at 2 pm, on Saturday, December 4th, at Hillier of COLLEGE STATION.

Mrs. Bill was born on June 7, 1944, in Bryan, Texas, to her parents, Eddie and Ora Rooks. As a young girl, Mrs. Bill was protective over her family. After high school, Mrs. Bill studied nursing. She absolutely loved her job! She would rarely take off work, unless it was an emergency. Mrs. Bill retired from MD Anderson in Houston, Texas and from her private duty nursing.

Mrs. Bill fell in love at a young age, and married the love of her life. Together they created a family with their daughters, Angela and Karen. Mrs. Bill was an amazing mother, she was always there for her children, and always provided for her family.

Mrs. Bill was a compassionate woman, always loving, kind, and taking care of others. She was always wanting to share her faith and wisdom. Although she was a loving woman, Mrs. Bill could be straightforward and strong-willed. She was an independent woman, and proud of it! She loved gardening, having famiy and friends over for get-togethers, and loved cooking. Her family was the most important aspect of her life. She loved seeing her grandchildren accomplish their goals. She was always a giver, and loved to spoil her grandchildren. Mrs. Bill enjoyed going to church and serving others. She had a strong faith in God The Father.
Mrs. Bill will be reunited with her parents, Eddie and Ora Rooks; sibling, James Rooks, Icy Green, Orlean Brooks, and Nettie Rooks Barwuah.

Mrs. Bill will be missed by her children, Angela Variste and Karen Coleman; grandchildren, Kimberly Variste, Vivian Coleman, Darnell Coleman, Brandi Samuels, Brandon Coleman, Gerrick Oliver, and Malik Williams; great-grandchildren, Kyla, Lauren, DeSean, Picasso, Adan'Layshia, Erin, Tre-Shon Anderson, Ka'marion Anderson, Anitra Anderson, Promysse Samuels; siblings, Pearl Banks, and Irma Kearney.
