Mary Lucas

(Mary) Lorene Lucas 10/24/1929 – 07/5/2018

Lorene Lucas, 88, of Frisco went to be with the Lord July 5. Funeral services will be at 11am Tuesday July 10, at Hillier Funeral Home of Bryan. Burial will be private at Steep Hollow Cemetery.

Mrs. Lucas lived in Bryan 45 years before moving to Frisco in 2008. She retired from Texas A&M. Before Bryan, she accompanied her husband Edward as he served in the US Navy. While living in Bryan she was a member of Central Baptist Church in Bryan and for the last 10 years a member of Prestonwood Baptist in Plano.

She was preceded in death by husband Edward Lucas in 2010.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, James Edward and Cheryl Lucas of New Braunfels, Texas; daughter, Susan Elizabeth Lucas of Frisco, Texas; granddaughter, Jessica Lucille Lucas of Virginia; sister, Lois Swanson of College Station and numerous extended family and friends.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to Prestonwood Pregnancy center in Plano Texas.
