Mary Grace “Gracie” Heath
April 6, 1937 – December 24, 2017

Mary Grace “Gracie” Heath, 80, of Bryan, went to be with her Lord on Christmas Eve to spend Christmas with Jesus. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Hillier Funeral Home of Bryan. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, December 29, 2017 also at Hillier Funeral Home of Bryan with Pastor Gary Westbrook officiating. Interment will follow at Restever Memorial Park.

Gracie was born on April 6, 1937 to Luke and Janie (Pry) Emola in Bryan. She graduated from SFA High School and spent many years as a cook with BISD, doing what she loved: cooking and feeding people- always making sure that there was plenty to go around.

The true love of Gracie’s life was her husband, Bill. After nineteen years of waiting, Gracie and Bill have been reunited for the happiest Christmas ever.

Gracie was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church in Hearne. In addition to spending whatever time she could with Bill before his death, Gracie enjoyed Quilting, Watercolor Painting, Drawing, watching Dr. Phil, and reading those “Sexy Books.” She will always be remembered as a spicy and feisty Italian with a loving, caring, and extremely compassionate heart.

Gracie leaves behind two sons, Luke Heath (Betty) and Michael Heath; one daughter, Margaret “Sissy” Heath (Sarah); one sister, Rose Kucera (Larry); nine grandchildren, Amy Nix, Rachel Money (Eliott), Colin Heath Read, Kaia Heath, Candy Goulet (Will), Krista Devries (Kenny), Jessica Jones (Kevin), Jenni Money (Wes), and Shea Contreras; eight great-grandchildren, Sara, Thomas, Jonathan, Zachary, Emma Grace, Shawn, Trinity, and Riley; and six furry companions, Gigi, Abby, Tiddly Wink, Hannah Banana, Roxy, and Estrella.
