Martha Jane Engleman, 76, of Bryan, went to be with her Lord on March 22, 2018. A time for family to receive friends will be from 5:30-7:00 PM on Monday, March 26. 2018 at Hillier Funeral Home in BRYAN. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Martha was born on September 1, 1941, to Joe and Agnes Novak in Bryan, Texas. She graduated from SFA in Bryan in 1959. She married Henry John Engleman on May 14, 1961 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Martha was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling all of her grandkids. She loved cooking, crafts, playing dominoes, and bingo. She was an active member at the Fortress Nursing Home as the Resident Council President.

She is preceded in death by her husband Henry Engleman, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe Novak, in-laws Mr. and Mrs. Richard Engleman, sister-in-law Shirley Novak, nephew Morris Novak, and special friend Jerry Novosad.

Martha leaves behind her children Henry and Cathy Engleman, Mike and Melissa Engleman, Linda and Kevin Lambert, Cindy and Samuel Rives, a brother George Novak, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews James Novak and Joseph Novak.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice Brazos Valley in lieu of flowers.
