Mark Niemann

Mark Allen Niemann passed away June 29, 2018 at the age of 38.
Mark was born August 30, 1979 in Temple, Texas to Bobby and Sue (Baumann) Niemann. Growing up in Galveston, San Angelo, Killeen, and Cleburne before finally moving to College Station, Mark was very close to his older brother Ryan. They both loved movies. Mark lived his life to the fullest, and never met a stranger. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a focus on finance.
Mark was an independent landman for oil and gas companies. As hard of a worker as he was, he played even harder. He loved to have a good time. He was always the center of attention with his fun-loving, boisterous nature. He loved to barbecue and could never have food spicy enough. When he had time, he loved to hunt and saltwater fish.
As macho as he was, Mark also was very generous and giving, especially with his family and friends. He would let his daughter Alyssa paint his toenails and put make-up on him. He was very happy to have fallen in love and married his beautiful wife Julie Hailey on February 16, 2013.
Mark leaves behind his wife Julie Niemann, his daughter Alyssa Niemann, his father and stepmother Bobby and Carol Niemann, his mother and father-in-law Gayle and Jimmy Hailey, his brother and sister-in-law Ryan Niemann and Rhiannon Stinnette, his sister-in-law Jamie Hollis and her husband Jason, and a host of extended family and friends.
To honor Mark’s life, his family has planned a Life Celebration to be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 2 PM at Hillier Funeral Home of College Station. There will be a gathering after the service until 4 PM.
