Helen Enid Siegel

Helen Siegel passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the age of 78.

Helen was born in Newark, New Jersey to George and Beatrice (Shrank) Weisman. Growing up in Newark and Roselle Park, New Jersey with her brother Alan, Helen loved to paint. After graduating from high school in Newark, she went on to receive her Master’s Degree in psychology from Kean College. She used the degree to become a business owner.

Helen was in high school when she met the love of her life, Donald Siegel. The pair were blessed with one daughter, Narda. Narda and Helen became the best of friends, even more so after Halen became disabled at the age of 30. Helen was widowed at the age of 55, and she never remarried. She was a very devoted mother, and really enjoyed being a grandmother and great-grandmother.

Helen was a very outgoing person who loved being with people. She made friends easily, as people were drawn to her friendly demeanor. She was very artistic, and loved to paint and draw. In her free time, Helen enjoyed playing BINGO with friends. Her faith was very important to Helen, and she was a member of Beth Shalom Temple. Helen leaves behind her daughter Narda Siegel, her granddaughter Gabriel Everett, her great-granddaughter Daygen Everett, and her brother Alan Weisman.
