Helen Janet (McKee) King
December 24, 1933 ~ April 12, 2019 (age 85)
Helen J. King, known to friends and family as Gam-Gam, passed away at the age of 85 on April 12, 2019, at Hudson Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center in College Station, TX.
Helen was born December 24, 1933 to Jimmy and Evelyn (Smith) McKee in Cumberland, Maryland.
Her hobbies included photography, gardening, tile art and spending time with family. She also loved eating Blue Bell Ice Cream and malted milk balls.
Helen was a dental hygienist for more than 25 years and then worked in the real estate industry and previously managed a local apartment complex.
Her late husband was Donald King who served in the United States Armed Forces. She is survived by her daughter Deborah Clayton, granddaughter Brianne Leggett, grandson Robert Patrick Clayton and his wife Holly, and great-granddaughter Addalynn Clayton.
Service will begin with rosary at 10:30 am, followed with a Mass Service, and reception at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in College Station, TX. Service will be completed at the College Station Cemetery at 1:30pm
