林芙蓉女士1971年9月18日生于中国浙江省平阳,2021年12月22日逝世于美国德州休斯顿市郊,享年50岁。芙蓉与其丈夫秦庆明先生生育了两个女儿,秦昱和秦曦。芙蓉是位对生活充满阳光和希望的好女儿、好妻子、好母亲。
芙蓉1989年毕业于浙江平阳一中,1993年和1996年毕业于中国农业大学并分别获学士和硕士学位。1996年起在中华人民共和国农业部全国农业技术推广服务中心(NATESC)植物检疫处工作十年;期间先后代表国家相关植物检疫工作人员出访调研了多个国家;负责包括NATESC植物检疫隔离场和实验室建设等大型项目;获省部级科技进步奖多项。1996年她与丈夫秦庆明先生结婚, 2006年移居美国,2012年起在美国德州A&M大学工作,任实验室项目经理及研究人员。
芙蓉热爱生活,为人善良真诚,热心助人和乐于公益事业并有乐观和积极向上的心态,有着独特的感召力和大公无私的人格魅力,同时又有对知识的渴望和对美好的事物的向往,有着过人的领悟能力,让她在人生的不同阶段,深受其同学、同事和生活圈中方方面面朋友们的尊重和爱戴,赢得了友谊,享受了亲情。很多年结交的同学、同事和朋友、虽身处全球各地,至今仍是保持紧密联系。芙蓉的家庭在周末或节假日时常常是同事、朋友、孩子家长们集聚的场所,在各种场合中都留下了芙蓉的欢声笑语,展现着她乐观向上、追求美好事物的人生态度。从北京移居到美国德州大学城,生活上发生巨大的变化,芙蓉克服最初种种不适和艰辛,在坚信明天的生活会更美好的信念中,她都会积极主动工作,任劳任怨、圆满完成其份内外的工作,让自己和家庭的生活不断改善。与她在一起工作过的同事都铭记着她敬业爱岗、勤奋努力的工作作风。在家中芙蓉和秦庆明先生彼此扶持,恩爱有加,生活充满美好希望和安康。闲暇之余,芙蓉非常享受和亲朋好友相聚,结伴旅行,领略大自然的壮美风光。芙蓉对养育的两个女儿,充满母爱但又不失严格,身体力行,将自己积极、乐观和热心助人等多种优良美德传给女儿们,孩子们在妈妈的言传身教中,也早早感悟人生的美好,大女儿从中学阶段起常在居住社区、医院等进行义务服务。在不同阶段芙蓉与亲朋好友的一张张照片中真实地展示了她五十载绚丽的人生。
芙蓉是位好女儿、好妻子和好母亲,她那充满爱心、积极和乐观向上、热心助人和大公无私的品德备受同事和朋友们的尊敬和爱戴,认识她的朋友都会想念她。









Ms. Furong Lin was born in Pingyang, Zhejiang Province, China on September 18, 1971 and passed away in the suburbs of Houston, Texas, USA on December 22, 2021 at the young age of 50. Furong and her husband Mr. Qingming Qin have two daughters, Yu Qin and Helenna Xi Qin. Furong was a good daughter, wife, and mother full of sunshine and hope for life.
Furong graduated from Zhejiang Pingyang No.1 middle school in 1989 and graduated from China Agricultural University in 1993 and 1996 with bachelor's and master's degrees, respectively. From 1996-2006, she worked in the Plant Quarantine Office of the National Agro-Tech Extension and Service Center (NATESC), the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China. During this period, she successfully visited and investigated many countries as a member of the National Plant Quarantine staff. She was responsible for large-scale national projects including the construction of a plant quarantine isolation field and the Laboratory of NATESC. She won several provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress awards while she was there. She married her husband Mr. Qingming Qin in 1996 and immigrated to the United States in 2006. Since 2012, she has worked at Texas A&M University as a laboratory project manager and researcher.
Furong loved life, was kind and sincere, and enthusiastic about helping others. She had an optimistic and positive attitude, a unique charisma and selfless personality and charm. At the same time, Furong had a desire for knowledge and beautiful things, and had an extraordinary ability to understand people and the world around her. At every stage of her life, she was deeply loved and respected by her classmates, colleagues, and friends. She won many friendships and enjoyed family affection. Her classmates, colleagues, and friends of many years who live all over the world still maintain close contact with her. Furong's home is often a gathering place for colleagues, friends, children, and parents on weekends or holidays. Furong had an infectious laugh, and her cheerful voice was heard on various occasions, showing her optimistic and upward attitude about life. Great changes had taken place in her life since she moved from Beijing to College Station, TX, USA. Furong overcome all kinds of discomfort and hardships at the beginning. In the deep belief that tomorrow would be better, she always took initiative at work and worked harder than anyone to accomplish her goals, to continuously improve her own and family's life. Her colleagues remember her dedication and hard-working style. At home, Furong and Mr. Qingming Qin support each other, loved each other, and filled each other's lives with good hope and well-being. In her spare time, Furong enjoyed gathering with family and friends, traveling together, and enjoying the magnificent scenery of nature. Furong was full of maternal love for her two daughters, but she was also strict. She practiced her own good virtues, such as being positive, optimistic and enthusiastic in helping others. The children also feel the beauty of life in their mother's words and deeds. The eldest daughter often provides voluntary services in residential communities and hospitals. Furong's photos with her relatives and friends at different stages truly demonstrate her 50 years of gorgeous life. Furong was a good daughter, wife, and mother. Her loving, positive, optimistic, helpful, and selfless character were respected and loved by colleagues and friends. Friends who know her will miss her.
