David was a rock star at heart. Ever since he was a tiny boy, he played his guitar. In his early 20's, he did covers with his friends of his favorite bands, especially for KISS, as ACE (Paul Frehley). He was such a blessed guitar player, most couldn't keep up with his skills.
David had an eye for learning. Growing up, he enjoyed tinkering on anything from tv's to cars. He loved anything that got his hands messy. He created go-karts out of scratch furniture and body pieces from vehicles, airbrushed cars, even gas tanks on motorcycles, and rebuilt fishing boats. Anytime he wasn't tinkering or playing the guitar, you could find him fishing in tournaments, watching NASCAR and cooking shows. He also had some “mad” skills in the kitchen, cooking up some enchiladas and much more. He was a jack-of-all-trades.
David wasn't afraid to take risks. He enjoyed summer trips and camp outs with his kiddos and played the guitar for his them while they sang along. He always encouraged others to do their best. No one could ever say they could not do something around him. He would quickly respond "can't could never do anything". He continuously had a contagious smile, which carried him throughout good and bad times. No matter what he was battling, he had everyone laughing.
David renewed his life when he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Now, he joins loved ones in God's Kingdom.
Until we meet again, rock on!
