Bridger Edwin Stockwell
November 11, 2016 - June 20, 2019

On Thursday morning, our precious son, Bridger Edwin Stockwell, went home in the arms of Jesus. He came into our lives through a miracle birth on November 11, 2016 in Ft. Forth, Texas and has taught us to live life joyfully over the past two and half years.

Bridger truly lived life joyfully and fearlessly, enjoying every moment he could spend with his big brother, Liam Benjamin and his big sister, Emery Gray. He loved cars and dinosaurs and was content in any situation as long as he was not hungry and had on his red racecar rain boots or his dinosaur "Roar" rain boots. When he was hungry, his food of choice was Tortillas, Tortilla Chips, Yogurt, "Dodies" (Do-Nuts), or any carb. He was a very focused and determined little boy who could sit and watch his Daddy throw hoops forever - cheering him on and on…. and on. Bridger also enjoyed any bright color, books, swimming and watching "Cars" and "Paw Patrol."

Bedtime was special for Bridger. He would express, "Pray Yes, Hug Yes, Kiss Yes," and then cuddle up with his stuffed "Puppy" singing "Jesus Loves Me" until he could start the next joyful adventurous day.

Bridger will remain in our hearts and memories forever and we anticipate that glorious day when we can experience his joyfulness again in the presence of Jesus. Until then, Bridger enjoys heaven with his great-grandfathers, Bill Grisham Sr. and Dale Edwin Woodard, his great-grandmothers Alma Bridger and Phyllis Grisham, his great-uncle Robert Bridger and his dog Bailey.

Bridger loved to hold mommy and daddy's hands and cuddle...and now we know he is holding Jesus' and is cuddling him...and we can't wait until we can hold his hands and cuddle him again in heaven. He will be greatly missed by us all, his Daddy and Mommy, Chris and Katie Stockwell, his brother Liam, his sister Emery, his grandparents Joanne Grisham, Mick & Dalese Stockwell, and Bill Grisham Jr., his aunts and uncles, Paige Grisham, Jonathan & Katherine Stockwell, and Daniel & Samantha Stockwell, his cousins, Elliot Gray Corey, Ian Stockwell, and Elizabeth Kate Stockwell, his great-grandmothers Helen Stockwell and Billie Woodard, his dog Heidi and goat Sammie, and numerous other family members and friends.

We will celebrate Bridger's life at 3 PM on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Grace Bible Church, 700 Anderson St., College Station, Texas.
