Barbara Frazier, 87, of Wheelock, left to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. A visitation will be held from 10-11 am, with a funeral service to begin at 11 am, on Monday, August 30th, at Bethel Lutheran. A reception will follow at Bethel Lutheran. Graveside services will begin at 3:30 pm, on Monday, August 30th, at Klein Memorial Park, Pinehurst, Texas.

Barbara was born on November 16, 1933, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, to her parents, Arnie and Viola Rupnow. Barbara grew up on a dairy farm helping her family with farm work. She also spent time with her father fishing. Barbara fought a near-fatal illness as a high school freshman, and still managed to graduate on time. She attended one year at Valparaiso University in the Deaconness Program.

Barbara met the love of her life, George "Doug" Frazier, one night at a Corpus Christi night club. She and a girlfriend went for a night out and Doug was one of the performing band members. At the time, Doug was in the Navy and stationed in Corpus Christi. Barbara and Doug met, fell in love, and were married a month later. They enjoyed 37 years of a beautiful marriage. The couple had three children together, Glenn, Greg, and Sheila. Barbara and her husband, Doug, jointly began a business in fast-food restaurant, which expanded over the years to 8 restaurants in the Greater Houston area.

Barbara was a life-long Lutheran. She loved to share her faith with others and remained an active church member. She supported her church by volunteering and giving donations. A passion of Barbara's was supporting Christian mission work and helping others in need. She passed on her Christian values to her family, and they will hold on to those values forever.

Barbara had many interests in her life. Known to be a collector, Barbara loved antiques. She would collect and sell them. Barbara also enjoyed going out to eat at different restaurants and playing with her cats, Bandit and Smokey. She loved plants and flowers, various social groups, and travel. Barbara was a good, kind-hearted person with a positive attitude. She will be missed by her friends, family, and loved ones.

Barbara will be missed by her children and their spouses, Glenn and wife Terry Frazier, Greg and wife Mary Frazier, and Sheila and husband Ted Vaughen; grandchildren, Gene Frazier, Gary and wife Marie-Pier Frazier, Grant Frazier, Teddy Vaughen, Tyler Vaughen, Roger and wife Alice Roth, Darrell and wife Bridget Roth, Sheri Brock and husband Troy, and Lauren Vaughen; and great-grandchildren, Dustin Blackburn, Katherine Roth, Haley Roth, Heather Roth, Ryan Brock, Taylor Brock, Trey Brock, Grace Roth, Judd Roth, Caroline Roth, and Arlo Phillips; siblings, Ethel and husband Bob Buchta, David Rupnow, and Tom Rupnow.

Barbara will be reunited with her husband, Doug Frazier; parents, Arnie and Viola Rupnow; and sibling, Allen Rupnow.
