Annie Mae Dyson

Ms. Annie Dyson, age 76, of Bryan, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019, in Hospice care with her beloved daughter and sisters by her side.

She was born August 10, 1942, in Hollandale, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Nathaniel Vardaman Dyson and Neddie Applegate Dyson Breitenkamp.
Annie was preceded in death by her father Nathaniel Dyson, her step-father Edward Breitenkamp and mother Neddie Breitenkamp; as well as her adopted granddaughter Scarlett McNeil.

She was a member of College Heights Assemblies of God Church for well over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. Those two children were the light of her life. Annie loved being with her grandchildren, her daughter, and son-in-law as well as her very best friend, Sadie Gage. She and Sadie could have been spotted driving around town in her little Kia Soul car. Annie's sisters would come and pick her up to have a "Sister's Day Out" in which they would go to lunch in or out of town. She also enjoyed her Ladies Bible Study, walking, collecting tin cans, gardening, shopping for the grandchildren and great-grandchildren and going to Lampstead to watch Terry Price do his Elvis Impressions.

Annie is survived by one daughter and one son-in-law, Margaret and Michael Reynolds of Bryan; two grandchildren, Christina Marie Narro of Bryan and George Luis Narro Jr, and wife Renee Narro of Brenham; two great-grandchildren, Cameron Justice Busa and Summer Rose Narro; four sisters, Marie Holder of Bryan, Josephine Lindsey of Bryan, and Addie Sue Stasny of College Station; and one step-sister, Kathy Bordman of Beaumont. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2019, at College Heights Assemblies of God Church, Bryan, with Pastor Brent Levens officiating. Burial will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery in Bryan.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
