Anita Jean Randle

Anita Jean Randle passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2018 at the age of 54.

Anita was born May 8, 1964, in Crane, Texas, to Johnnie Ruth Moore. One of four children, Anita was raised in Stephenville by her grandparents Ida and Bo Switzer. As a teenager, she was already very social and enjoyed hanging out with friends. Her son Johnny was born when she was 17. Anita went back and got her GED and decided to go to cosmetology school. She graduated with her cosmetology license in 1991.

Anita was blessed with two big loves during her life, Harrell Lovelace and later, Daron Randle. Family is what mattered most to Anita, especially her sons and grandkids. A single mom for the first few years of her son’s life, her sons Johnny Ray Lovelace and Harrell Wayne Lovelace, Jr. meant everything to her. She was a very loving person, generous with her affection, and wasn’t afraid to say or show how much her family and friends meant to her.

Anita loved to talk to people! She greeted people with “Hi, Baby!” or “Hi, Baby Girl!” and always wanted to know, “What ooo doin’?” She never met a stranger, and was always willing to take the time to chat with someone, regardless of how well she knew them. She was sassy and fun, and people were drawn to her, making her job at Valero/Circle K perfect for her personality. She had worked at other convenience stores and fast food restaurants, and had goals to make a career change, but she really enjoyed talking to people, getting to know them, and helping them in any way she could.

When Anita wasn’t working, she loved traveling. Occasionally she was able to hit the road with her brother in his 18-wheeler. She especially enjoyed visiting the northern states and taking in the mountain scenery. She also enjoyed crocheting, playing games on her phone, especially word and puzzle games, and eating her son’s spaghetti.

Anita leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law Johnny and Misty Lovelace, her son and daughter-in-law Harrell and Shannon Lovelace, Jr., her husband Daron Randle, Harrell and Marilyn Lovelace, Sr., her brother Harold Switzer and Ronda Mitchell, her brother and sister-in-law James and Debbie Pyle, grandchildren Tristan Lovelace, Destiny Lovelace, and Jessica Pacini, and numerous nieces and nephews. She has been reunited with her parents, grandparents, and brother Robert “Bobby” Banta.

In order to honor Anita’s life, her family has planned a visitation from 6:30-9 PM on Friday, December 21, 2018, at Hillier Funeral Home of College Station.
