Sharon Johnson

Sharon Johnson led a full life that ended on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, in Bryan, TX. Sharon was a loving wife and mother of 5 children. She was born on June 21, 1951 in Northport, Alabama, to Chester and Ola Mae Cork. While growing up she enjoyed family water-skiing and fishing trips on the Black Warrior River in Alabama with her siblings Jackie, Pamela, and Kim. Throughout her high school career she was a majorette of her twirling team.

Sharon was so proud of her children, and her grandchildren, they meant the world to her. She was a survivor. She battled stage 4 ovarian cancer, numerous colon issues, and the loss of her leg. Sharon loved Alabama football, shopping with her grandkids, and her deep faith in God.

Sharon leaves behind her loving spouse, Frank Johnson. She also leaves behind her children, Zak Renfro, Jody Broadus, Amanda Bush (Chris), Shane Broadus (Stephanie), and Meghan Wade (Jamie); Her sweet grandchildren Christian Broadus, Blake and Avery Bush, Camryn Wade, Brooke, Morgan, and Connor Broadus. She also leaves behind her stepchild, Suzi Elliot (James), as well as her step grandchildren, David Litton, Ashton Litton, John Minter, and Randel Jones.

A Visitation will take place Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 12:30 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1:30 PM, at Hiller Funeral Home of Bryan. A reception and a Graveside service will follow directly after.
