Margaret Harrington

Margaret Alice Harrington, 54, Bryan

Margaret Alice Harrington, 54, of Bryan, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, November 14, 2019.

Margaret was born on October 13,1965 in Pheonix, Arizona, to her parents, Dwight Whitcomb Wakefield and Audry (Lyne) Galloway. Although she was born in Phoenix, Margaret and her four siblings, Gordon Wakefield, Wendy Wakefield Salazar, Cynthia Ward, and Barbara Anz, grew up mostly in Bryan, Texas. She enjoyed spending time with her family on the Bedias family farm, riding horses and always playing outdoors. She liked to play softball and was also a twirler in junior high at Stephen F. Austin Middle School. After graduating with her GED, Margaret went on to earn an Associates Degree at Clearlake University and Blinn.

Margaret had a passion for Harley's, Cooking, Alabama Football and Horses. She had a job that she loved at Leonard Ranch as a Horse Manager. She did what she loved everyday at Leonard Ranch by rescuing and caring for the horses there. Cooking was another passion of hers, as she loved to cook for her family and friends! Even though she loved to cook, she splurged on her favorite food, Whataburger, every now and then! Sewing was another past time of hers that she enjoyed, especially sewing on antique sewing machines. She loved being involved in Youth Sports with her son, Dakota. Margaret lived her life to the fullest, spending every moment she could with her family and friends. She was a tough woman, a survivor, and will always be remembered as a giving, over-the-top, loving person.

Surviving are her loving husband and the Love of her life, Thom Dobrovolsky; her daughter Kaileigh and husband Andrew; her son Anthony Lynwood Carter and wife Olivia; her son Dakota Ray Wayne Harrington; her five grandchildren Ryder, River, Aliyah, Asher (AJ), Aryana; her Mother Lyne Galloway; her siblings, Gordon Wakefield, Wendy Salazar, Cindy Ward, and Barbara Anz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Step Father James Vernon Galloway.
