Lonny Roy Scasta

Lonny Roy Scasta was born on October 10, 1937 at St. Joseph Hospital, Bryan, Texas to John R. Scasta and Josephine Ella Blazek Scasta. He attended Wheelock Schools and Graduated from Franklin High School in 1955. In 1956, he married his high school sweetheart, and love of his life, Bobbie Jean Pruett Scasta with the marriage lasting 68 years and 5 months.
 Lonny and Bobbie owned and operated University Tire and Service, also known as as, H&S Tires, Inc. in Bryan, Texas. Along with Allen Scasta the business was solid for 48 plus years, with the closure in 2021 for Lonny, Bobbie, and Allen to retire. Lonny’s joys included his farm, riding his tractor, fishing in the ponds, tending to the cows, and teaching the grand and great- grandchildren life lessons.
 Lonny is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ella. His oldest brother John H Scasta and wife, Lena Ruth, and sister, Cynthia Scasta Janik and husband, E.J, Janik, and middle brother, Bill Barclay Scasta.
 Lonny is survived by wife, Bobbie Jean Pruett Scasta, son Allen Scasta and partner, Tony Leftwich and daughter, Traci Scasta Davis and husband, Cliff Davis,
The apple of his eye were his grand and great- grandchildren. Four grandchildren; Matthew Scasta and wife, Ashley Scasta, Bonnie Kay Scasta White and husband, Ryan White, Kyle Davis and wife, Kim Davis and Cory Davis and wife, Lindsey Davis.
Three great-grandchildren; Brylee Nicole Scasta, Bryce Allen Scasta and Margaret (Maggie) Grace White.
 Lonny is also survived by sister, Frances Scasta Walton and husband, Frank Walton and sister in law, Delma Scasta, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
