Jon was born in Bryan Texas, to Angel Martinez, Jr and Tammie Sue Foster. He graduated from Bryan High School in 2017.

Jon Jon was a gift to us all. He had his special way of touching everyone he met. Most of all he taught us to love with a big heart and to have a purpose to life and no matter what…..LIFE IS PRECIOUS. Some will say that he was the most loving, mischievous, sweet little turd they ever met, yet he was their angel in disguise and taught everyone about unconditional love. He had his own way of communicating especially when passing by a McDonalds and wanting his DR. PEPPER. His eyes lit up when going through a drive thru and giving him a "sobide".

Being happy means hopping up and down with a big smile. Being happy means being tickled and laughing with his special laugh. Being happy means sitting on the couch with Dad watching TV. Being happy means riding in the Polaris and feeding the cows. He brought smiles and joy to everyone. No one was a stranger to Jon Jon.

Jon Jon gave the most precious thing he could in his passing, a symbol of hope for those who are waiting…. a gift to others……. he DONATED LIFE. Selfless to the end, Jon Jon continues to provide unconditional love through is donation of life. He was a hero to all in life and even in death.

He is preceded in death by his nana Connie Martinez, grandfathers Angel Martinez, Sr, Louis Seiter, Jr. and Jerry Shelton, and grandmother Nona Sue Shelton.

He is survived by his father, Angel Martinez, Jr and bonus mom, LTC Geralyn Martinez (Ret); mother, Tammie Sue Foster and bonus father Jim Foster, tias Julia Garcia and husband Phillip, Mary Jane Flores and husband Phillip, Jeanne Fraiser and husband Bruce, and Maria Jimmerson and husband Kevin, aunts Tina Wiese and Terri Shelton, sister Arielle Crosley and fiancé Colt Preuett, sister Annabelle Foster , brothers Kyle and James Michael Foster, and many cousins and extended family.
