William Wallace "Wally" Kyle, Jr., beloved husband, father, and devoted health care worker, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on May 25, 2017.

Born in Leavenworth, Kansas, on August 11, 1943, to parents serving in the Salvation Army, Wally moved around the Midwest before graduating from Decatur High School in Decatur, Illinois.  Following his 4 years as an Aviation Electrician’s Mate in the U.S. Navy, Wally moved to Detroit, Michigan.

While in Detroit, Wally had two sons, Jeffrey and Timothy, and later the three of them moved to Texas in 1973.  Once in Texas, Wally met the love of his life, Janice, while they were working together in Houston.  They married in 1975, and had Patrick in 1976, in Pasadena, Texas.  In Pasadena, Wally, Janice and their family were active members of Austin Avenue Baptist Church.  Wally taught Sunday School, participated in the bus ministry, and led Austin Avenue's youth group for several years.

Wally and Janice moved to College Station in 1989.  Soon after moving, while working a full-time job, Wally went to school at night to be a Radiology Technician (RT) at Blinn College.  Wally graduated with Blinn's first graduating class of RTs with his A.A. degree.
After passing his licensing exams, Wally began working as an RT at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Scott & White Clinic, and College Station Medical Center.  Wally eventually retired after 20 years of working for Saint Joseph’s Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lenore Kyle. Wally is survived by his wife, Janice, his sister, Ruth, his brothers, Don and Robert, his sons, Jeffrey, Timothy and Patrick, and his grandchildren, Timothy, Jaedyn, Milo, Tennyson, and Patrick Lincoln.
