Teresa Palomares

Teresa Palomares passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the age of 63.

Teresa was born on August 20, 1954 in Bryan to Felipe and Gabriella Torres Palomares.

Teresa was a hard working lady that was always giving out love with a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh. She was employed with the Brazos County Courthouse to be able to take care of her two children, Julian and Monica. She worked there until her retirement in 2015. When she wasn’t working, Teresa loved going to the movies and cooking. If she wasn’t cooking, she was enjoying a good meal at a restaurant. Her favorite was a rib eye at Texas Roadhouse. Being a mother and grandmother was the focus of her life.

Teresa’s Catholic faith was very important to her. She was an active member of St. Anthony’s. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Phillip Palomares. She leaves behind her son Julian Ortega of Bryan, her daughter and son-in-law Monica and Frank Narro of Knoxville, Tennessee, her grandchildren Adrienne Narro and Ethan Narro, her brother and sister-in-law Oscar and Mary Palomares, her brother and sister-in-law Jesse and Cindy Palomares, her sister and brother-in-law Dolores and Rick Aco, her sister Concha Palomares, and nieces and nephews.

To honor Teresa’s life, there will be a visitation Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 5-8 at Hillier Funeral Home of Bryan, with a Rosary to begin at 6:30. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, with a reception at St. Anthony’s Malinowski Center.
