Gloria Montelongo

Born on St. Patrick's Day, 1953, Gloria Montelongo, passed away on March 23, 2017 after a life-long battle with Lupus.

Gloria graduated from Bryan High School in 1971 and later attended school in Houston, Texas.

Gloria was employed by and retired from Dr. Terry Jones Dermatology Clinic after 37 years and later moved to Huntsville, Texas, to be near her sister, Vera, and brother, Ruben, who were her caregivers for many Years.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Pedro and Carmen Trevino Montelongo; brothers, Pete Jr. and Raul; and sister, Linda Salazar.

She is survived by sisters, Mary Garza, Lydia and husband, Adrian Cruz, and Vera and husband, Mike Scogin; brother, Jesse Montelongo and wife, Estela; and brother Ruben Montelongo.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2017, from 6 -8 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM at Hillier Funeral Home of Bryan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Msgr. John McCaffrey on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church followed by internment at Bryan City Cemetery with a reception to follow at the PAC.
