Francisco Antonio Hidalgo

Francisco “Frankie” Antonio Hidalgo, 31, passed away on August 13, 2017.
Frankie was born on August 31, 1985, in San Antonio to Francisco and Hilda Hidalgo, an HEB Store Leader and homemaker, respectively. Growing up, Frankie attended Southwood Valley Elementary in College Station. He enjoyed playing football and baseball, and loved going fishing and camping with his family. His fondest memories include tent camping trips to New Mexico with his grandparents. During his high school years at Cy-Fair High School in Cypress, Frankie worked for HEB as a cashier and enjoyed skateboarding. Frankie graduated form Texas A&M with a bachelor’s degree in 2010 and then went on to receive his master’s degree in 2011.
Frankie was very proud to be an Aggie and considered Ring Day and graduation day to be two of his best days ever. He worked at HEB on Villa Maria in bookkeeping and was a Teacher’s Assistant at Texas A&M. He loved finance and went on to work for AIG. Frankie was a very outgoing person who loved making new friends. He enjoyed playing video games, fishing, and of course attending any game played by his beloved Aggies: baseball, basketball, or football; he loved watching them all. Frankie also loved to eat, especially any grilled meat, green olives, Twizzlers, and Sour Patch Kids, whether he was awake or sleep walking.
Frankie is going to be dearly missed by his family and friends. He leaves behind his parents Francisco and Hilda Hidalgo, his girlfriend Jade Dillon of Conroe and her son Logan (who he adored), his brother and sister-in-law Javier and Tiffany Hidalgo, his sister and brother-in-law Gia and Alejandro Ramirez, and his cousin (though, more like a brother), Jose Rodela. His family would like to invite you to “Maroon Out” and celebrate Frankie’s life starting with a visitation on Thursday, August 17 from 6 to 8 PM at Hillier Funeral Home of College Station. His funeral service will be Friday, August 18, 2017, at 1 PM at Texas Avenue Baptist Church with burial to follow at the Aggie Field of Honor.
