Arnold Jean Salinas

Arnold Salinas, 80, passed away December 10, 2017, at The Fortress after a lengthy illness. Visitation with family will be the 12th from 5-7 PM at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan. Services will be December 13 at 10:30 AM at Brazos Valley Church of Christ on Graham Road in C.S. Burial to follow at Wellborn Cemetery.
He was born and grew up in Madisonville. In 1956 Arnold graduated HS and married his sweetheart, Winona (Charlton) Salinas. His wife of 61 years and his precious daughter, Jeanie, survive him.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde & Martha (Johnson) Salinas, and five siblings—James Salinas, Sara Reiff, Dorothy Barker, Lois Greer, Wells Salinas and Linda Whittaker.
His survivors also include one sister, Juanita Landreth; four nephews, Jerry Landreth, Jim Salinas, Richard and Steve Greer; four nieces, Martha Schoemaker, Pam Malicoat, Gay Collard and Dana Alexander.
