Aaron Curtis Clary

Aaron Curtis Clary passed away on February 17, 2018 at the age of 20. He was born January 17, 1998 in Bryan, Texas to parents Chris Clary and Cynthia Cruz.

He grew up in Bryan attending public school and Blinn College. He graduated from Mary Catherine Harris High School in May 2016.

Aaron loved nature and being outdoors. Galveston and Camp Creek were two of his favorite places and where he felt most at peace. He spent many happy hours swimming, fishing, playing games, and jet skiing with his cousins. He also loved technology and computers, and often enjoyed spending time alone building his computer tower.

Aaron was creative and bright with a mind for mechanical engineering. He could be quiet and reserved sometimes, but his brain was always thinking of new ideas and inventive ways of doing things. Those who knew him got to see his passion and excitement for the things he loved.

Although he was private about his personal problems, Aaron was always ready to listen and help others. He loved seeing other people happy. He worked well with his hands and always pitched in when needed, whether it be assembling furniture, carrying heavy loads, or getting the boat in and out of the lake. He was a tremendous help to anyone who knew him.

He was a caring and kind-hearted person who loved his family and friends, including his little brother and many cousins. He especially loved his great grandmother and, after her passing, got a tattoo band to always remind him of her.

Aaron is preceded in death by his grandmother Nellie Cruz, his grandfather Curtis Clary, and his great grandparents Blasa and Julius Cruz and Lela and Gaston Clary. Aaron is survived by his mother Cynthia Cruz, his father Chris Clary, his brother Andrew Philip Comly, grandfather Felipe Cruz, grandmother Eleuteria Dado, step grandfather Amalio Dado, uncles Felipe Cruz, Jr and Ernest Cruz and his aunt Diana Cruz. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle Diane and Ken Martin, who were his adoptive grandparents, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins on the Martin side of the family who all loved him very much.

Please join the family and friends to honor Aaron's life with a Celebration Gathering beginning at 2 PM with a Life Celebration to begin at 3 PM on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Hillier Funeral Home of Bryan.
