That last night in Oklahoma was happy and sad. Since our house was sold, we went to yours to spend some time and I believe we had dinner too. Just as we got ready to leave either Jenny, Tracy or both of them asked to walk me home. It was pointed out to us (by whom I can't remember) that home was now in Florida and that was a verrrrrry long walk. We had a good laugh (though slightly embarrassed), hugged and said goodnight. Goodbye is still too hard to do. I love you Jen!

It is now Sept. 2009 and Jennifer has been with the Lord for a while. Here is a poem as a tribute to her.

A gentle wind blew across the land
Reaching out to take a hand
For on the winds the angels came
Calling out Jennifer's name.

Left behind, everyone's tears
Loving memories of the years
Of joy and love, a life well spent
And now to God Jennifer was sent

On angel's wings, a heavenly flight
The journey home, towards the light
To those who weep, a life is gone
But in God's love, 'tis but the dawn.

Don't question God or try to understand
Live your life the best you can.
Grow and help others today
For that will help our short Earth's stay.

God will see us throught this day
If we just ask him when we pray
Think only of the good times you had
And this might help you not be sad.

Daughter, Sister, Aggie, Friend
She'll be remembered to our end.
So thank you Lord for all you do
And give us strength to follow through.

With love and memories we will always share
Of all that Jennifer did with a flare
Our love for her will always soar
As God holds her close now and forever more.
