  • Carolyn Tait: Steve and I are deeply saddened by Carol's death. She has been my friend since kindergarten. She was always kind, gentle and very fun. We were in Girl Scouts together in Mrs. Cook's scout troop. In Junior High, there were several of us that became close friends. As a joke, our boy friends named us the "Syndicate". We spent many fun times together in school. And then at one of our high school reunions, as adults we knew we still greatly enjoyed each others company -- so we began going to Colorado each summer for a week. Oh, the laughter and happy memories we made together. Carol always spoke so tenderly of her family. Carol's relationship with both Holly and Julie set an excellent example of what family should be. She and Pat shared a great marriage, and she so enjoyed being a mother. Carol, our beautiful friend -- beautiful on the inside and out -- is now with the Lord. To say that Carol will be missed is an understatement. I am so very thankful for the good memories we made together for all of these years. Our deepest sympathy to Carol's family.
