In Our Community

Because of our unique role in the Brazos Valley, we know that we are more than just a business; we are a key part of the local community and that is a role we take seriously. Our community has been incredibly supportive of us over the years and we believe strongly in giving back, remaining visible, and doing our part to promote the community’s wellbeing. We strive to make a positive difference.

Hillier Hearts Blanket Drive

Hillier Hearts was created by our staff after caring for Al Sims, a homeless veteran in Bryan who passed away in 2019. He was a well-known face with an incredible story that impacted us deeply. After caring for Mr. Sims, we want to continue and extend that care further into the homeless community. We partner with Twin City Mission to provide blankets and coats and we work hard to ensure, especially now during the pandemic, the blankets and coats are cleaned professionally and are safe before we pass them on to those in need. We are accepting new and gently used blankets and coats at both Hillier locations and at BCS Toyota.

National First Responders Day

On this day, we serve the Bryan/College Station heroes for their continuous, endless, and tireless service to us. Our staff spent the hours of the night before smoking ribs, brisket, and sausage. We prepared potato salad, baked beans, and all the fixins. It was first come first served for those who are always first to serve …and it was truly our honor.

Thank you, first responders!

Wish upon a Butterfly

The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History hosts Wish Upon a Butterfly annually but, because of the coronavirus pandemic, this year was a little different. We were not able to gather with the museum and take part in their festivities but that did not stop us from supporting their cause and taking a moment to dedicate to our community. We brought the beautiful butterflies to our home in College Station and released them to honor everyone affected in any way by COVID-19.
